Produced between 1993 and 1995, Porsche Motorsport hand-assembled each of the approximately 55 Carrera RSR 3.8s and delivered them exclusively to professional racing teams competing in international GT and endurance events. Powered by the legendary twin-plug, Mezger-derived 3.8-liter flat-six, the RSR combined lightweight construction, advanced suspension geometry, and uncompromising factory engineering to become one of the era’s most capable customer race cars.

Developed in the final years of the 964 platform, the Carrera RSR 3.8 served as the technological foundation for Porsche’s next-generation competition cars.
