This highly original 1969 Porsche 911S Coupe offers an alternative to a fully restored example. Delivered in California and reportedly owned by two owners since new, it remains unrestored and retains the natural patina accumulated over more than five decades.

Finished in Silver over Black, the car retains its matching-numbers 2.0-litre Type 901/10 air-cooled flat-six, Bosch mechanical fuel injection and five-speed manual transmission. The S specification produces 170 horsepower, paired with the longer-wheelbase chassis introduced for 1969.

An unrestored survivor

Its finishes and materials show the normal signs of age expected of a maintained car of this period. The interior, controls, trim and mechanical presentation retain the character of an early 911 that has been used and preserved. The visible patina forms part of its history.

Approximately 120,000 miles are indicated. A Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, historical and service documentation, books, original keys, original tool kit, jack and spare wheel accompany the car. It was imported to Germany approximately fourteen years before the current dossier and remains in private collector ownership.
