Matching-numbers 4.7-litre Quattroporte with a factory-installed ZF five-speed, Maserati Classiche documentation and a 2016–2025 concours restoration. Awarded at Delray Beach and Palm Beach in 2026.

Chassis AM107*2088 combines Maserati's original 4.7-litre quad-cam V8 with documented factory history and an extensive concours restoration. Completed in June 1968, it was delivered on 17 June to Berald Rottemberg in New York, originally finished in Verde Bosco Metallizzato with Marrone Connolly leather.

A factory five-speed conversion

In February 1973, the car returned to Maserati in Modena. The factory replaced its Borg-Warner automatic with a ZF S5-325 five-speed manual and refinished it in Rosso Fuoco. That documented factory intervention distinguishes its present manual-transmission configuration from an undocumented later conversion.

Nearly a decade of restoration

The current owner acquired the car in 2016 following a period of storage. A comprehensive 2016–2025 restoration returned it to its original Verde Bosco color, using correct methods and components wherever possible. Al Day Restorations in Ocala handled body and coachwork; Luc Grondin of Davie completed the final paint. Gold Coast Interiors in Fort Lauderdale renewed the Marrone leather interior.

Jacques Di Borgo of MIE rebuilt the original engine. Kels Classic Auto Air restored the factory air-conditioning system, and Kevin Kruszeski completed mechanical development, assembly and concours preparation. The car retains its wood dashboard, Smiths instrumentation, period Blaupunkt radio and power windows, with Borrani wire wheels, Pirelli Cinturato tires and a matching custom leather luggage set.

Factory records and concours recognition

Maserati Classiche documentation includes the Certificate of Origin, Technical & Aesthetic Certificate and a certified copy of the original delivery note. Restoration and concours records accompany the car, including 2026 recognition at Delray Beach and Palm Beach.

The mileage is recorded as 43,760 miles, with approximately 150 miles covered since restoration. Located in Palm Beach County, Florida, and offered from private collector ownership. Inspections and review of the documentation can be arranged by appointment.
