The story
A one-off Prosten/BS Motorsport build on a 1974 911S chassis, with DP bodywork, a 3.3 turbo and selectable 540/580/620 hp maps. German historic road registration approved in 2026.
Created as a one-off bespoke automobile, this RSR Turbo evocation is based on a reportedly accident-free 1974 Porsche 911S chassis. It is a specialist conversion, rather than a factory-built RSR Turbo. Prosten Motorsport and Neil Bainbridge at BS Motorsport in Westcott developed the car over approximately three years, with custom body fabrication by DP Motorsport.
The 3.3-litre turbocharged air-cooled flat-six uses MoTeC programmable management and three selectable maps rated at 540, 580 and 620 horsepower. A reinforced four-speed manual, bespoke clutch assembly and titanium drivetrain components support the engine's output.
Road and track engineering
Bilstein coil-over suspension, Eibach springs and K3 spring plates combine with 930 / 935 RSR-inspired brakes. BBS wheels measure 11J × 18 at the front and 14J × 19 at the rear, wearing Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. An ATL 100-liter fuel cell uses dual pumps. Original front glass, lightweight polycarbonate side windows and extensive weight reduction contribute to a stated 1,050-kilogram total weight.
The Silver body is paired with Sparco Pro 2000 seats and a safety cage. Following individual TÜV inspection and certification in 2026, the car received German road approval and historic H registration. It has covered 1,584 kilometers (984 miles) since completion.
Engineering specifications, build records, dyno documentation and TÜV certification accompany the car. Located in Germany and offered from private collector ownership. Independent inspections are welcome by appointment; track-event use requires appropriate preparation and organizer approval.
